The Good

Quick and easy to get to the table.
A decent SOLO experience.
Does a cracking job of emulating the classic choose your own adventure experience.

The Bad

Very, very random. Lots of dice and deice rolling and chance if your not a fan of random you'll probably want to move along.
Art is either going to draw you in with a nostalgic glow or send you running for the hills.

Summing Up

If you loved Dark Castle you'll surely love this too. And with some new mechanics and options there is improved game-play and options so it feels less an on rails random luck fest with now at least some choices to be made.
A solid and tough experience sure to be a hit with lovers of old school adventuring, its very chance led by plays fast and sets up easy so it won't outstay its welcome.
